Apresentação
The Advisory Board is a body intended to advise the Rector in the definition of strategic areas for the development of teaching and research, in the provision of services and in the connection with the community.
1. It is incumbent upon the Advisory Board to give its opinion on the matters submitted to it by the Rector, namely
- Proposals for strategic plans or multi-year activity plans, to be approved by the University Council;
- Procedures for the implementation of the strategic guidelines in the organization of teaching, learning, research, and extension;
- Organic regulations of the University and other regulations that the Rector considers pertinent for the institutional development of the Uni-CV;
- Annual activities plan, operating and investment budget;
- Annual reports and accounts of the Uni-CV;
- Creation and extinction of teaching, research and extension organic units; and
- Definition of the University's training offers.
2. The Advisory Board is also responsible for
- To advise the Rector in the University's government, in all matters that the Rector may submit to it;
- Approving the respective Rules of Procedure and submitting them to the University Council for ratification.
