Article 58

College of teachers in the election of the rector

While the teaching staff provided for in subparagraph a) of paragraph 3 of article 22 is composed of less than 40% (forty percent) of doctors, the 60% (sixty percent) of electoral expression are distributed as follows form:

a) Full-time Ph.D. professors, whose electoral expression must represent at least 30% (thirty percent) of the votes;

b) Other full-time professors.

Article 59

Symbols, ceremonies, and academic attire

 Issues relating to symbols, ceremonies, and academic attire are regulated by the University Council.

Article 60

University day

1. Uni-CV Day is celebrated on November 21, the day of the foundation of the University.

2. The commemoration of University Day may be subject to regulation by the University Council.

Article 61 

Organic units and services

1. The current Departments are renamed Faculties, keeping the organic teaching, research, and extension units that already have the name Schools.

2. Without prejudice to the provisions of these Statutes, the organization and functioning of the organizational units and services comply with the provisions of the Uni-CV Organic Regulations and specific regulations.

Article 62 

Current regulations

The Regulations in force on the date of entry into force of these Statutes remain valid insofar as they do not contravene the provisions of these Statutes.

Article 63

Rector and other members of Organs central government and management bodies

1. The Rector elected on the date of entry into force of these Statutes shall exercise his mandate until its end.

2. The current elected members of the University Council continue in office until the election of new members, to be held within 90 (ninety) days, counting from the entry into force of these Statutes.

3. The members of the current Scientific Councils and Pedagogical Councils remain in office until the new Councils established by these Statutes take office.
